Vectis Marine Design is a UK-based marine design consultancy specializing in the design and technical support of specialist vessels and high speed military and professional craft. Vectis has been part of the Zodiac Milpro group of companies since 2021 and support Zodiac Milpro with the design of new their new craft, with research and development and innovation projects, with technical support and the technical management of projects.
NAVAL ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING
Vectis provides the naval architecture and engineering which typically includes the overall design and arrangement, hull form development, structural design, weights and centres, stability and performance prediction and management, and the more complex military requirements that include multiple roles and payload integration, interoperability requirements such as deployment from ships, and transport and deployment by military aircraft.

DESIGN
As well as supporting Zodiac Milpro, Vectis also has a broad and varied number and range of other clients and projects that include vessel design, technical support and vessel decarbonisation. As well as designing new vessels we deliver a wide range of technical support projects that include structural design, hydrodynamic and performance analysis, and vessel modification and repair schemes. Our decarbonisation projects include feasibility and option studies and the design and specification of zero and reduced carbon propulsion and auxiliary systems including battery electric, hybrid, hydrogen and other solutions for ferries and other vessels
